The vast majority of the activities at Mayberry Comes to Scottsburg are free. We want our attendees to have lots of great things to see and do at no cost. Depending on the event there may be a charge for some things. For example, there will be several opportunities to meet our special guests and cast members with no admission charge. However, these guests may offer merchandise and autographed memorabilia for purchase. You’re under no obligation to buy these items, but our guests always appreciate it when you do.
In some cases, due to limited seating certain free events require tickets to reserve your spot. Be sure to sign up for these tickets so that your seat will be reserved for you. All events are general admission, so there is no reserved seating. We ask that you display the Mayberry Spirit and be kind and courteous to our volunteers and your fellow attendees when entering and leaving these venues.
Several of our very special events do require the purchase of tickets. These funds help to bring our incredible guests and shows to the festival. We try very hard to keep the cost of tickets reasonable and we believe every event will be more than worth the price of admission. Every ticket you purchase provides money for us to continue holding Mayberry Comes to Scottsburg each year.

Family Fun Day in Beechwood Park – 501 S Elm St, Scottsburg
All day in the park there will be FREE activities for the whole family. We’ll have food trucks, vendor booths, games, bounce houses, face painting and a balloon artist, a petting zoo and much more! Specific scheduled activities are as follows:

VIP Celebrity Dinner and Auction
A great evening to rub elbows with our Tribute Artists and celebrity guests, enjoy a fantastic meal, and bid on lots of great Mayberry items and memorabilia. The auction is an important part of our festival funding. Your generous support helps us keep Mayberry Comes to Scottsburg going.

Lots of activities will be happening on the Scottsburg Square. Start the day off by watching our fun Mayberry Parade that ends at the Square. Enjoy local shops and restaurants. Meet stars from The Andy Griffith Show. Visit with Mayberry Authors and take home some fantastic books. Show off your skills in our Mayberry contests and visit our vendor and craft booths. Sunday continues on the Scottsburg Square with more Mayberry fun. Start the day with a beautiful, non-denominational chapel service. Take in the shops and restaurants you missed on Saturday. Meet the Mayberry stars you didn’t get to see. Check out the Mayberry Authors you missed. Enjoy the great classic cars in the Mayberry Car Show. Mostly, just relax and enjoy a wonderful day with friends and family. Specific scheduled activities are as follows:
